Rails in the Garden Tour on March 8 & 9

Take a self guided tour of nine of the Tucson Garden Railway Society members’ outdoor train layouts.
 
March 8 and 9, 10 to 4 p.m. daily
 
Tickets are $5/adult, children 16 and under are free w /paid adult. Each ticket also enters you in a door prize drawing.

-So. AZ Transportation Museum, 414 N. Toole Ave.

Tickets may be purchases at layout locations on March 8 and 9 as well. Call 520-312-7379 for the layout closest to you.

“Funds raised by tour ticket sales help fund the Society’s projects at the Tucson Children’s Museum, the Tucson Botanical Garden, the Diamond Children’s Center, the Rodeo Parade Museum and our modular displays at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital, the Pima County Fair and various other locations throughout the year”. Donations for the Community Food Bank will also be accepted at each layout.
 
Carolyn’s note: I’ve seen the attractive train layout at the Tucson Botanical Garden, as well as at Double K Ranch out east across from Agua Caliente Park (layout # 7 on the map).

Take yourself & your children to these garden layouts.  Our son loved trains and this tour would have been one of his favorite activities.
