BIG LAUGHS FOR AN IMPORTANT CAUSE!

Cartoonist David Fitzsimmons will once again display his hilarious master of ceremonies skills at Comedy for Charity’s amazing variety show.

With standup performances by Headliner Bill Dawes (Sex and the City, I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell, Caroline’s Comedy Club), Feature Acts Jill Bryan, Elliot Glicksman and Suzie Sexton; music by LeeAnne Savage, Janee Starr, and Hope Sullivan; dance by Dancing in the Streets AZ, and juggling by Green Jelly Bean Entertainment, the audience will experience an unforgettable night of entertainment.

The proceeds of the event will provide money for victims of violence and violence prevention. This year’s beneficiaries are Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse and Dancing in the Streets AZ (This is a program which guides students in achieving life skills, especially at-risk youth.)

A Hollywoodesque event, Lifestyle Live will be interviewing our guests on the Red Carpet.

This event was created and organized by Tucson prosecuting attorney Suzie Sexton, whose sister was killed in a Chicago mugging in 1980. Kudos to Suzie for putting together another fantastic show, now in its 4th year.

  1. Another great show with comedians Suzie Sexton, Diva Janee Starr, attorney Elliot Glicksman, opera singer Hope Sullivan (“I Will Always Love You”), Jill Bryan, Lee Ann Savage (3 songs) and headliner Bill Dawes (who joked about marriage, sexual relationships, race & gender). We did “laugh till it hurts!”, along with Mayor Jonathan Rothschild, House Rep. Victoria Steele.
