The Baja Arizona separation movement is, if nothing else, capturing the imagination of the state and the country. While most progressive proposals tend to be "sane" and long-winded — read, too boring for the media to consider them worthy of coverage — creating Baja Arizona is bold and catchy. Hence its front page coverage in the Star.
