Thucky: One More Lie for Old Time’s Sake

I promised myself (and my wife) that I’d written my last Thucky post.

Oh well, you know what they say promises were made to be.

This one was too much to pass up.

I’ve written before about Thucky’s lies, but now he’s broken all his own records. In a “post-mortem” interview with Greg Patterson, the EspressoPundit, ole Thuckarooskie let this whopper fly:

Only that I made an admission that I had written some blog post, but I never admitted that I posted a particular blog post….and the blog post that talks about lazy pigs, that blog post is a fabrication. It is not a blog post that was authored by me.

That statement was not your run of the mill truth shading, or half-truth, or technically true but calculated to mislead, or walking the line between lying and reckless disregard for the truth, or parsing what the definition of “is” is.

Nope, that statement was full-blown, balls to the wall, Nixonesque lying.

Back in June, when the Thuckster first was unmasked, he actually explained what he meant by his reference to “lazy pigs.” It was kind of memorable, at least for me. You see, he was merely alluding to the fat lazy pig from the nursery fable, The Little Red Hen. I actually wrote about that explanation when he gave it.

How can you possibly explain what you meant by a comment, then claim you didn’t make it? If he didn’t make the comment, as he now says, how did he know he was alluding to The Little Red Hen?

Well, hats off to you, Thucky, for unmatched chutzpah. You truly have outdone yourself.

Okay, no more Thucky posts. I promise.

  1. Don’t make promises you can’t (or shouldn’t) keep, Bob. You are the one in command of the facts. You can’t let him get away with lies. Maybe you can promise your wife that you will only post to set the record straight.

(Me shaking head and rolling eyes: “He defended saying ‘lazy pigs’ with the Little Red Hen bull and now claims he never posted it? That is Thucking unbelievable.”)
