Announcement from Organizing For Action Candlelight Vigil Honoring Victims of Gun Violence:
We have not forgotten Newtown. We have not forgotten January 8th, 2011. We have not forgotten! Please join us in a community candlelight vigil to honor all of the victims of gun violence. Members of our community who have been directly impacted by gun violence will be joining us. Now is the time to do something about gun violence in our communities! **Please protect our dry desert landscape and bring glowsticks instead of candles.** We will be gathering at the Canada del Oro Christina-Taylor Green Memorial River Park. This park is located on Shannon Road, just south of Magee Road and across from the NW YMCA. Please park across the street at the YMCA or the PCC NW campus and be sure to cross the street ONLY at the traffic signal. Thank you for keeping everyone safe.
