Gun control petition on WH website has most signatures ever

by David Safier

A petition was created on the White House "We the People" site to "Immediately address the issue of gun control through the introduction of legislation in Congress." It went up Friday after the shootings. It now has 159,779 signatures, the most of any petition on the site, ever.

If you haven't signed it already, sign it. And while you're at it, if you haven't signed the petition started by BfA to encourage Ron Barger to "lead the charge in bringing sanity to our gun laws," please sign that as well. We're at 234 signatures in two days, including one from Newtown.
