If you live in Ward 3 of the City of Tucson and vote Democratic, you will be receiving a ballot for the upcoming primary for the Council seat, being vacated by 3 term Councilwoman Karin Uhlich. Three Democrats are running — Felicia Chew, a teacher at Mansfeld Middle School; Paul Durham, former Chief of Staff for Ward 6 Councilwoman Nina Trasoff and a retired attorney; Tom Tronsdal, owner of Canyon Fence Company and also an attorney. They will face off with Independent Gary Watson, employee at NW Fire Dept. in the General Election. (There is no Republican candidate running for this open seat.)
On July 12, all 3 Dems were in studio for a radio forum on the Bill Buckmaster Show (AM 1030 KVOI), airing 12 noon to 1 p.m. Here’s the broadcast of the forum:
