Some of these events require tickets reserved before the talks, so click on “Ticketed Events”, then “the general public” link. Ticketing ends 12 noon tomorrow, but there are 25% of the seats saved for no shows and standbys, the day of the presentation.

It was a great presentation today. It’s fantastic that now older LGBTQ people can live openly when as was mentioned, many still remember a time when there were raids on gay bars and gay people were much more frequently fired from jobs for being gay.
Yes, when I was growing up no one (except one fellow in our village) was openingly gay. He got teased for being “mahu” (Hawaiian). No one was out in college either, so we have come a long way in gay rights and even gay marriage. Thanks for commenting, Sarah.
