Trumps Mania for Greenland is Forcing N.A.T.O. Allies to Send Security Forces to that Nation to Stop the United States
Article Five of the N.A.T.O. charter, the clause that authorizes alliance members to come to the defense of another member who has been attacked, has been triggered only once since the organization's founding in 1949. That was in 2001 after the Al-Queda attacks on the United States on 9/11. Now, in 2026, Article Five may be activated again...against the United States if it invades Greenland.
