Well, it’s that day again, the Feb. 11 anniversary of when I started up here in 2014 at Blogforarizona.net, invited by our former colleague AZ Blue Meanie. He/she (still anonymous) is retired from blogging now, but I remember him/her well for his/her 20 year history with us. What a prolific blogger.
Anyway, so I’ve been blogging here for 12 years, and now mostly follow local Tucson politics (the forums & election results). But I also dedicate myself tirelessly to the B4AZ event calendar of progressive events in Southern AZ and often throughout the state (if time permits). And there are several daily events now protesting the current federal government’ s actions.
Since President Donald Trump took office (for 2nd time) on January 20, 2025, we have been very busy tracking his Executive Orders and other actions. It’s been a very exhausting year for all of us bloggers. But we will continue to comment on and criticize this Administration for all that they are doing to hurt our American way of life.
Ending here with some humor (much needed now) of some Trump toys I recently happened to see at the Daniel K. Inouye Airport in Honolulu in the Pages & Pages store (near gate A12). The Senator (my former boss in 1979 and 1980 on Capitol Hill) would have been stunned that they named the Honolulu International airport after him. After all, he was born/raised in Honolulu of humble origin.
P.S. The Trump toy cost $7 plus 0.04712 % Hawaii sales tax and I didn’t purchase it, as that was too much $ to spend on such a useless item. You press it and it squacks.
