Adrian Fontes Condemns Mark Finchem’s Silence Toward Anti Semitic Candidate He Endorsed

Apparently for Extreme, Dangerous, Alt Right,  Fringe, Oath Keeper, January 6 Domestic Terrorist Collaborator, and Trump Republican Secretary of State Nominee Mark Finchem, it is perfectly appropriate to endorse equally repulsive candidates who publicly espouse Anti-Semitic ravings in social media.

Oklahoma State Senate Candidate Jarrin Jackson is a real beaut…and apparently, kindred spirit for Mr. Finchem (and fellow Arizona Trump Republican looney tune Wendy Rogers.)

He has publicly published attacks on Jews, posting:

“The answer to Zionism or any other -ism is the gospel of Jesus Christ. His death, burial, & resurrection for the salvation of sin. I’m not beholden to Jews or any other group. People need to repent & believe the gospel. Hell is gonna be hot.”

He goes on in other entries, remarking:

“My whole point for this: Zionism, Jews taking over the world, the Rothschilds, the Kalergi Plan, the white replacement theology or white replacement theory. I largely agree that all of those things are happening. But if I believe that their premises are true, that white people are better than other people, that we have to elevate to protect and we have to bend public policy to make sure that America stays white, we are losing what the entire premise of America is, that because God exists, he has an order. … Yeah, I guess the problem isn’t the fact that I’m white and these guys aren’t white and I don’t want them here. It’s the fact that, well, I don’t want my culture changing, but I’m not willing to actually sacrifice to fight for my culture. What I want is I want someone who’s going to elect to go to office to make sure that the borders are closed so no one comes in. It’s like a nation of liars will be well-represented. Why do we have Congress full of corrupt godless commies?”

Mr. Jackson is also prejudiced against members of the LGBTQ community, posting:

“People find it disgusting, especially straight dudes. … Whenever they see other dudes kissing. It is gross. Being gay is gay. It is the most disgusting, despicable, stupid thing ever. Insert barf emoji. And yet, we’re supposed to celebrate this? We’re supposed to think it is normal? It ain’t normal! … These godless commies, these homosexual gay fornicating godless commies, are trying to foist upon everybody else that which is disgusting and dangerous and eternally damnable.”

Mr. Jackson is the one that is disgusting. He is the one who is Godless.

Jackson counts Finchem, Rogers, and Kari Lake among his Arizona supporters.

Lake, hedging her bets and trying to be all things to her Republican base and what few independents still see her as worthy, said today (August 20, 2022) she would rescind her endorsement if the reported comments from Jackson were true.

Right.

In the alternate reality world of Mark Finchem, there is nothing but the sound of crickets and human silence.

Adrian Fontes, the 2022 Democratic nominee for Secretary of State, did not waste time condemning the extremely dangerous member of the Oath Keepers who participated in the attempted insurrection of the Nation’s Capitol on January 6, 2021, issuing  a statement which read:

“Traditionally Republicans and Democrats have always agreed, despite our differences on the issues, that anti-Semitism and bigotry have no place in our society. While I am disappointed and disgusted that my opponent will not retract his endorsement of Jarrin Jackson and denounce his views, I am not at all surprised. My opponent won’t retract his endorsement because he clearly shares these sinister prejudices.”

“My opponent’s warped ideals consistently fly in the face of Arizona values and our common decency. This incident is just another example of the danger my opponent poses to our state. Americans of principle who don’t want Arizona to become a pariah must keep this man from gaining higher office in November.”

Mr. Fontes is right.

Mr. Finchem has warped ideals, is indecent, and is extremely dangerous.

Anti-Semitism, Prejudice against the LGBTQ community or any community has no place in Twenty-First politics.

Neither do Mr. Finchem’s other alternative reality views on the Big Lie of the 2020 elections, his embrace of Trumpist Fascism, and other outlandish views like the Mexicans are invading.

The November 8, 2022 elections are in 80 days.

Save Arizona Democracy by helping to elect Adrian Fontes and casting Mark Finchem to the dustbin of history.
