In a comment on the blog, Cheri put a link to a collection of ALEC Task Force materials compiled by Common Cause. In the Education section, a number of names pop up in ALEC documents repeatedly. People from K12 Inc, the largest provider of online education in the country. People from Connections Academy, which I believe is second to K12 Inc. in online education. Jonathan Butcher of the Goldwater Institute, who took over the G.I. education responsibilites from Matthew Ladner, who is also named a few times. And Arizona Senator Rich Crandall.
