Did you hear about that nice $400 million golden jet the Government of Qatar is giving Donald Trump so he could use as the new Air Force One and then bring it with him into his retirement venue at his Presidential Library/Museum.
When asked about it today, Mr. Trump said that he “would be stupid” if he did not accept this gift.
Suppose that is also true with regard to all the business his family is bilking in the region and bitcoin on the eve of his Middle East Trip.
Curious to see how many in MAGA Republican Leadership who moaned and groaned about Hunter Biden and the mostly false accusations against him with regard to Burisma and Ukraine have been struck with mutism when it comes to Mr. Trump and his families flagrant disregard with the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution.
Or how many question that his Attorney General, Pam Bondi, a once lobbyist for the Qatari Government at a rate of over $100,000 a month, has blessed this deal.

Members of Arizona’s Democratic Congressional Delegation had strong words about Mr. Trump’s gift acceptance.
Commenting on AL Sharpton’s MSNBC show, Representative Yassamin Ansari spoke of Trump’s quid pro quo with the Arab gulf states on both the purchase and his wish to rename the Persian Gulf the Gulf of Arabia, saying:
“The Persian Gulf has been recognized as such by International bodies literally for centuries. This is a politically motivated move by President Trump ahead of his trip. We also know that The Qatari government and royal family, has now offered Donald Trump a luxury plane to be, you know, the new Air Force One and the reason I bring it up in the context of the question about the Persian Gulf is because it’s all related. These gulf countries have been lobbying to change the name of the Persian Gulf for many, many years. This is nothing new, but the wildly unethical, potentially illegal acceptance of such a luxury gift from the Qatari royal family by Donald Trump is is one of the many reasons why he would even consider making a move like this. It’s corruption at its finest. It is disgusting. It is not doing anything to actually address the real issues that Americans have. And again, it just shows that Donald Trump is here for himself for his own wealth or his family and everything that he’s doing. Is is a matter of self-interest.”
