Arizona: the “Dear Abby” state?

Conservatives complain about the Nanny State, but I guess the Dear Abby State is OK by them.

HB 2650 would increase the waiting time for a divorce by 4 months, to give couples a chance to reconcile their differences.

HB 2650 was written by the Center for Arizona Policy, which gets involved in morality-based family issues.

I thought these were the people who want the state to stop telling people what's good for them. I'm confused.
