AzBlueMeanie says, cast your votes for Arizona’s best blog

by David Safier
We here at BLOG FOR ARIZONA are too classy to go around begging people to go to the comments section of The Fix, Chris Cilliza's blog, and vote for BLOG FOR ARIZONA as the best political site in Arizona, the state for which BLOG FOR ARIZONA is named. But as AzBlueMeanie mentioned, another political blog whose name will go unmentioned (cough, R-Cubed, cough) is crass enough to recommend that its readers go to Chris Cilliza's blog to give it an unfair advantage. It seems that other, unmentioned site was named Arizona's best last year, and it wants to raise its chances for a two-fer by begging that its readers go to the comments section of The Fix, Chris Cilliza's blog and suggest its name, rather than, say, BLOG FOR ARIZONA.

Seeing as how the other site brought it up, I think it's only fair to give our readers the same information. AzBlueMeanie was kind enough to suggest you mention my name, but I think Cilliza is looking for the name of the blog, in this case, BLOG FOR ARIZONA, not the name of any specific blogger. And besides, I am in awe of the Meanie's command of politics and political history and consider the Meanie at least equally worthy of commendation.

NOTE: You have to be registered with the Washington Post to comment on Chris Cilliza's blog. It's free, and it gives you online access to the Post.
