BfAZ Image Calendar not functioning well

Hi loyal BfAZ readers,

I guess you’ve been wondering “Where in the World is Carolyn Classen?”, since the image Calendar hasn’t added any new events since late December 2018.  Around that time Word Press (our system) updated automatically and somehow blocked/disabled the Calendar link.  I have not been able to add any new events, can  only barely add flyers to current events, and change the titles of events, but not the dates or times.

Hence our webmaster Lisa allowed me to migrate over to a new blogsite, where I posted about 38 new events all the way to April 2019.  But the migration encountered problems and half of those events are now past and not published at all.

Witnessing the  delay, I re-posted several of the events to our current front page for Jan. 3, 8, 10, 13, 15, 16,17,  and 21.  But I  had no time to do all the other events before they occurred in January, so I apologize that you readers didn’t know about them.

What now?  We bloggers are still waiting for the migration to go “live”, but I also at times can’t see/ access the new site at all, so I don’t know what upcoming events I added on to that new site.

Will try to continue to re-post some events on our current front page, as we patiently await the migration.  “Patience is a virtue”, and I’m running out of it.  Sorry for the inconvenience and any misinformation this  may has caused all of you.

As for the comments, nothing has changed since I posted on New Year’s Day about the problems we’ve been having for months: https://blogforarizona.net/happy-new-year-from-an-improved-blog-for-arizona/. I’m still approving some legitimate ones from Trash, and unapproving spam ones which get through our filters automatically.
