Time is precious for candidates, especially as we get closer to election day. In spite of that For exactly that reason, the Accidental Guv will be spending her time November 1, the day before the election, traveling to California to "attend the hearing over SB 1070 in California."
Will she testify? Doesn't say. Will she somehow have an effect on the hearing by her presence? Doesn't say. But she's sure to be in front of cameras ginning up the immigration story.
Because the best place for Brewer to be is in front of cameras hugging SB1070 the way other pols kiss babies. She'll be hundreds of miles away from Goddard and close to the issue she loves. If Brewer had her way, it would be all immigration, all the time. This is her last chance to make sure, she hopes, the issue trumps jobs, the economy and the out-of-balance budget.
