Buckmaster radio show now only weekly on Fridays

Bill Buckmaster, radio talk show host has semi-retired after 15 years on the radio, from his daily show on KVOI 1030 AM to a weekly Friday only show. His last daily show was on Dec. 30, 2025 and three reporters from the Tucson Sentinel and Green Valley News & Sahuarita Sun joined him:

Many of the people (Supervisor Rex Scott, former PCDP Chair Don Jorgensen, Councilman Paul Cunningham, etc.) whom Bill has interviewed over the years called in to wish him well on his semi-retirement. Financial consultant Shelly Fishman also joined this final interview.

Starting Friday January 2, 2026 his radio show will only be on the air on Fridays, still at 12 noon to 1 p.m. on KVOI.

Yesterday he hosted another Friday reporters’ roundtable with Green Valley News & Sahuarita Sun editor Dan Shearer interviewing Republican LD 17 State Senator Vince Leach. ASU Economist Dr. Dennis Hoffman is also interviewed on this show.

Next week’s interviewees will be Democrat LD 18 Rep. Nancy Gutierrez and UA Env. Science professor Jeff Silvertooth. Tucson Sentinel political reporter Jim Nintzel will join Bill then to interview them.

Mark your calendars and listen every Friday at high noon on KVOI “The Voice”.
