Bike Fest Tucson is an annual celebration of the most incredible form of human-powered transportation in the world – the bicycle! Clean and green, so simple, elegant, affordable and fun – the bicycle deserves an entire month dedicated to celebrating its beauty and practicality. This year Bike Fest is designed to encourage everyone in Tucson to take a new look at the bicycle in your garage, hanging on your wall, or waiting for you in a local bike shop to purchase and make your own. How do you want to spend the glorious, warm, sun-drenched days or cool nights of April riding your bicycle?
You can enter to win a bike makeover — who doesn’t need that? Or enter a 2 mile commuter challenge, but definitely go to the Pedal the Pueblo link on the Bike Fest website to see all the great deals/discounts for April 21 to 25. This entire Bike Fest month is sponsored by Living Streets Alliance. Here’s one of the fun bike events for April 23:
Breakfast at Watershed Management Group’s Watering Hole
Visit us on your morning commute on April 23rd to fuel up on coffee and breakfast snacks, and take a quick tour of the water harvesting features at our Living Lab and Learning Center before you pedal on your way!
