On the eve of the first Presidential Debate of the 2024 Campaign, please take a look at the below political ads coming from the Biden/Harris Campaign and The Lincoln Project.
The first ad, posted on social media, shows a map of a divided United States based on the 21 states that have abortion bans thanks, largely in part to Donald ‘I killed Roe v Wade’ Trump’s Supreme Court Picks.
In the ad, the former President is shown saying:
“I was proudly the person responsible for the ending of something that all legal scholars-both sides wanted (ANOTHER TRUMP LIE) and in fact demanded to be ended (ANOTHER TRUMP LIE:) Roe v Wade.
The ad ends with Trump Did This in red lettering across the map of a divided United States.
The next ad attacks Mr. Trump for being only out for himself and his wealthy comrades while President Biden spends his waking moments fighting to make life better for all Americans and their families.
The final ad, called “Stopped” presents Michigan Sheriff Chris Swanson who accuses Trump of “Neglect of Duty” for his role in instigating the Domestic Terrorist-Insurrectionist attack on January 6, 2021, telling the gathered mob to “Fight like Hell…otherwise you’re not going to have a country anymore.”
After saying “It should have been stopped,” Swanson continued:
“As a Sheriff, it’s awful to watch police officers getting attacked. That’s not supporting this badge and this uniform. I have no desire to work with somebody who divides. That’s not what America is but I will work with anybody who unites. That’s why I’m with President Joe Biden.”
The Lincoln Project has also put out three ads in the last three days.
The first one called “Actual Stupidity” talks about how while people should be worried about the dangers posed by A.I., a more immediate worry is the actual stupidity shown by Trump supporters who blindly follow their candidate despite everything he has done.
After discussing the potentially dangerous future with overreliance on AI, the narrator warns that “A far greater danger is here now because that day in January isn’t about artificial intelligence. It’s about actual stupidity.”
The narrator continued with:
“Masses of people, unwilling or unable to recognize the difference between Democracy and Dictatorship. Politicians and pundits, drunk on confirmation bias and spewing lies, in the name of principles they no longer hold. Cultists, useful idiots, ignorance, mindlessness, actual stupidity. It’s here and it’s taking over. Take a last stand with humanity this November and save the future from AS before it’s too late.”
The next ad from the Lincoln Project, called “Pressured” makes a direct appeal to Republicans disenchanted with twice impeached and 34 times convicted Trump to switch sides this election.
Saying to the Republican Party voters that it was once the party of “character, family, the American Ideal, law and order, individualism” the narrator continues with:
“The party that would never vote for a criminal. But with or without the verdict, we all knew that’s exactly what Donald Trump is-a criminal.””When did conservative values become about one man? When did faith go from looking upward to looking the other way? Donald Trump doesn’t represent the Party of Lincoln. He’s not the inheritor of Reagan’s legacy. Donald Trump is a virus that has torn our party to shreds. It’s time to save the Republican Party by voting against it.”
The last Lincoln Project ad, called “Ready to Rumble” is a comedic preview of this evening’s Presidential Debate with an animated version of Donald Trump uttering big lies that are approvingly soaked up by his Kapo-Judenrat Anti-Immigrant Tsar Stephen Miller.
In the ad, you have the animated Trump making outlandish claims like ” a loaf or gasoline is $84 a pound” and mispronouncing Joe Biden as “Joe Byron.”
He also suggests allowing guillotines in schools and calls the scheduling of Sharknado “election interference.”
Picking up on his remarks about sharks at a rally in Las Vegas earlier this month, the cartoon Trump goes on to say:
“They don’t know what they’re biting. They’re confused…You think Sharknado happens in a vacuum. Oh, give me a break.”
He also refers to Baseball pitcher Randy Johnson as “Candyman” and Psycho’s Norman Bates (Miller in the cartoon) as knowing a lot about “water pressure” and “it is so important to elect someone who has had a mother otherwise you’re going to have World War III…”
He then calls out to Robert Kennedy Jr, referring to him as “wormfood” who promptly says “The Titanic was an inside job.”
The ad ends with Trump saying “On second thought Stephen, I may need to bail on this thing.”
