The latest ship jumper is Ken Duberstein, former chief of staff for Ronald Reagan. He's voting for Obama:
Duberstein said he was influenced by another prominent Reagan official – Colin Powell – in his decision.
"Well let's put it this way – I think Colin Powell's decision is in fact the good housekeeping seal of approval on Barack Obama."
They just keep swimming away from McCain's rusted old vessel and climbing aboard the U.S.S. Obama.
UPDATE: Here's what Duberstein says about the Palin pick in an MSNBC interview:
It has undermined the whole question of John McCain's judgment. . . . You don't offer a job, let alone the vice presidency, to a person after one job interview. Even at McDonalds, you're interviewed three times before you're given the job.
Duberstein just supersized his slap-down.
