Dear Democratic legislators: I’ll be happy to complain about anything you want

by David Safier

Apparently, writing a bill is easier than writing an email reply. If someone complains about something, write a bill to address the complaint. Problem solved. According to Lori Klein, anyway.

Klein said complaints led her to write her "partisan doctrine" bill.

Sen. Lori Klein, R-Anthem, told Capitol Media Services that she has received complaints about "political indoctrination in the classroom." Klein is a sponsor of the bill.

What say a bunch of us complain to Klein about the anti-worker bills, or complain there are too many Arizona tax breaks for the the one percent and for out-of-state corporations? That should spur her to action.

By the same token, if Democratic legislators need me to complain about something to justify bills they're sponsoring, just say the word. I'm sure I can find a few friends to complain as well, so the Dems can talk about getting "many complaints about . . ."
