Asian Lunar New Year festival

Carolyn’s note: This Asian Lunar New Year is celebrated in February by Chinese and Vietnamese cultures, but we Japanese celebrate on January 1st like most other people. It’s the Year of the Horse for all of us in the Asian world (12 year cycles).

I was a member of the Tucson Chinese Cultural Center for over 16 years, from 2008 to 2025, where I played Hong Kong Simplified mah jong. I also took classes in tai chi, line dancing, exercise.
