Black Trauma

Carolyn’ note: Not a surprising topic for Black History Month considering the legacy of cotton plantation slavery for Black American families, the institutional racism over the decades, and the alleged police brutality directed towards Blacks in America, to this day. A white college professor friend of mine has two Black adopted daughters and she tells us of the cruel verbal attacks of racism directed against her young daughters at school. When will this unwarranted racism end?
