Clean Elections LD 18 Democrat Senate debate (cancelled)

Update: AZ CCEC website indicates this debate is now cancelled, as Matt Welch has withdrawn his candidacy per AZ SOS website.

LD 18 Incumbent State Senator Priya Sundareshan, elected in Nov. 2022 was facing a Dem challenger activist Matt Welch. The AZ primary is on July 30, 2024. No Republican or Independent is running in this race.

Only info I could find on Matt Welch is that he ran in the Dem primary for then-LD 9 Senate in Sept. 2000. So he could be seeking this seat 24 years later.
