“Please join us this coming Friday, Feb. 28, for the 9th Annual Summit of the Ethnic, Gender, Transborder Studies & Sociology (EGTSS) Department at the Downtown Campus, Pima Community College. This year’s summit will include a Teach-In for Social Justice with distinguished speakers addressing concerns about the new federal administration and possible impacts on Ethnic and Gender Studies and vulnerable populations. Please see the full program and speakers’ bios attached.
The Teach-In is free and open to the public. Proceedings begin at 9:30am with coffee, pan dulce, and fruit available to attendees from 8:30-9:30am.
