Do you Want an ICE Facility in Marana?

“The Management and Training Corp., a company that operates ICE facilities around the U.S., recently purchased a former prison in Marana for millions of dollars. It seems unlikely they’d spend that kind of money without a plan to build another ICE facility, this time right in our backyard.
County Supervisor Jen Allen is moderating a forum on Thursday, Oct. 23 at 6:30 to inform Pima County residents of this possible ICE detention center and to discuss the implications for the community.
Panelists include the ACLU of AZ, Immigration and Refugee Rights Project and Just Communities AZ.
