About this event
Good Trouble Lives On is a national day of non-violent action to respond to the attacks posed on our civil and human rights.
Join us in commemorating the passing of Congressman John Lewis as we take action to defend our rights and remind the Administration that in America, the power lies with we, the people.
On Thursday, July 17, we are focusing on the right of due process being taken from our immigrant friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers by demonstrating to ICE that we are all immigrants!
So, please carry the flag(s) that represent (s) your heritage and let’s show ICE what it looks like when we the people all stand in solidarity with our fellow immigrants.
Thursday 7/17 7-8:30 AM 2035 N Central Ave (corner of Central & Monte Vista)
**** Bring your heritage flag and/or an ICE specific sign. Don’t forget to hydrate before and during the protest! Let’s take care of ourselves so we can take care of each other. 👊
Please note: A core principle behind our Good Trouble Lives On actions is a commitment to nonviolence in all we do. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.”
