International Women’s Day of Demonstrations in Tucson

“This peaceful Day of Demonstrations begins with lining up on Congress Street in Downtown Tucson from 10:30am to 12:00pm, starting from the Federal Building all the way to Fourth Avenue (or as far as we can go)!
Next, we’ll be at River and Campbell from 12:15pm to 1:45pm, lining up toward the west on River and toward the south on Campbell to maximize visibility.
The last of this series will be at Broadway and Swan from 2:00pm to 3:30pm.
Please be mindful of your surroundings and do not stand on the street or block any building or driveway entrances. We ask that you line up single-file to allow people to use the rest of the sidewalk, but also so we can line the streets even further! Additionally, please observe traffic safety and cross the street only on crosswalks.
We encourage you to carpool to reduce traffic and parking needs if you plan to attend more than one event.
Wear GREEN, bring yourselves, bring your signs, and bring as many people as you can. Let’s show the world that Tucson stands up for women!”
