A Pima County resident since 2015, Jake has always valued service and worked hard to give back to the community he loves. At the age of 18, Jake founded the Survivor Shield Foundation, one of the first nonprofits to provide emergency relief financial aid to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence. In just two years of leading Survivor Shield, he has transformed it into one of the highest-rated service providers in Arizona, offering a multitude of programs that directly serve hundreds of our neighbors in need. As a business founder, a job creator, and a social worker, Jake has a plethora of hands-on experience serving our community. A committed advocate for Democratic values, helping those in need, and building a better Pima County, Jake is ready to serve.”
Carolyn’s note: Jake is running in the Dem Primary on July 30, 2024 against incumbent D1 Supervisor Rex Scott. Scott won this race in Nov. 2020 against Republican Steve Spain by 730 votes.
