Jonathan Treble is a Democrat, public school dad, and small business owner with middle-class and union roots. After putting himself through college and becoming the first in his family to graduate, Jonathan started a business in his living room and went door to door to scale it into one of the fastest-growing companies in the country, reflecting his commitment to green practices and veteran hiring. After a major health crisis and a battle with insurance, he’s running for Congress to expand access to affordable healthcare, reverse Trump-era cuts, and protect Medicare and Medicaid.”

Carolyn’s note: CD 1 in Phoenix is represented by long term Republican David Schweikert, who has been in Congress for 15 years. Former Az House Rep. Democrat Dr. Amish Shah is also running for this seat in the Dem primary in 2026. Shah ran for this seat in Nov. 2024, got 48% of the vote then.
