Carolyn’s note: 3 Dems running for 2 seats in 2026 on current all-Republican ACC of 5 Commissioners. So there likely will be a statewide Dem primary for these races on August 4, 2026. Jonathan Hill ran for this seat in Nov. 2024 and came in 5th in an 8 way race for 3 ACC seats. Clara and Derrick are political newcomers.
