Carolyn’s note: So many Dems running for this position, hard to remember them all: Michael Butts, Dr. Sam Huang, Dr. Teresa Leyba Ruiz, and now Brent Newby. One of them will face off with incumbent Superintendent Tom Horne (but he is being challenged in the July 21 Republican primary by state Treasurer Kimberly Yee.) And there’s an Independent running too, Dr. Stephen Neal Jr.
