“Get ready to vote! Supported by the Local News Initiative of Southern Arizona, join the Arizona Luminaria and Tucson Spotlight at the Community Foundation for Southern Arizona Campus for a nonpartisan Tucson City Council candidate meet and greet on July 8, 2025.
Tired of surface-level politics and rehearsed responses? So are we. That’s why we’re hosting an honest conversation with your Tucson City Council candidates.
This isn’t your typical forum. No grandstanding, no soundbites. Just real people talking about real issues that affect our neighborhoods. This event is an experiment in civic engagement and education, designed to create space for meaningful dialogue between candidates and community members.
Come ask your questions, hear directly from the candidates and cast your ballot with the clarity you deserve.
Free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required for admission to the event. Bring your curiosity and your voice. Tucson’s future is shaped by those who show up.
