“In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings. NO KINGS is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption from Trump and his allies. We’ve watched as they’ve cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts. They’ve done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies.
“NO KINGS DAY” COMES TO WESLEY BOLIN PLAZA – CELEBRATE FREEDOM, FUN & FABULOUSNESS ON JUNE 14TH! Phoenix, AZ –
Join us for a bold and joyful celebration of freedom, equality, and resistance at No Kings Day on Saturday, June 14th, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00pm at Wesley Bolin Plaza across from the Capitol in downtown Phoenix. This private, permitted event for the whole family.
Flag Day is all about reclaiming our independence — from oppression, from outdated hierarchies, and from hate — with a vibrant, people-powered event packed with inspiration and fun for the whole family.
Highlights include: Main Programming (9–11 AM): Hear from local leaders, advocates, and changemakers. Drag Brilliance: Arizona’s best family friendly drag performers will shine between speakers — expect sparkle, sass, and celebration.
Kid Zone & Carnival Games: Fun for all ages with family-friendly games and activities. Food Vendors offering local favorites and carnival treats. No Kings Merchandise Booth to support and fund the event — every purchase helps make this celebration possible.
We will also be collecting canned and nonperishable food donations for St Mary’s Food Bank; please bring a can or two to support local families in need! On-site Port-a-Potties for guest convenience.
“No Kings Day is more than a protest — it’s a party with a purpose,” said Weird Violet of the Fifty Fifty One Arizona. “We come together to celebrate who we are, support our communities, and imagine a world without Authoritarians, or tyrants.” Join us “We the People” alongside the organizations dedicated to upholding the constitution; 50501 Arizona, Green Party of Arizona, Indivisible, People First Project, Resistance Network of Arizona, Veterans Common Defense, and Women’s March.
Parking is available surrounding the plaza park, including a limited number of ADA accessible spaces.
