PCDP “Yes on 414” Press Conference

Please join PCDP at a Press Conference for the Yes on Prop 414 campaign.
Hear about the importance of Proposition 414 from local elected leaders and show your support for a safe & vibrant city!
The conference will be held in front of the fountain at the Courthouse.”
Speakers at the press conference will include (from Yes on 414 email):
- Sen. Priya Sundareshan – Discussing why Prop 414 is necessary and the challenges posed by far-right opposition.
- Rep. Betty Villegas – Highlighting the urgent need for affordable housing solutions and how Prop 414 will help Tucson families.
- Rep. Stephanie Stahl Hamilton – Addressing the importance of strengthening community support systems.
- Supervisor Adelita Grijalva – Highlighting the positive impact 414 will have on our community
- Clayton Black, President of the Tucson Firefighters Association – Speaking on why first responders back Prop 414.
- Darrell Hussman, President of the Tucson Police Officers Association – Emphasizing how Prop 414 will keep Tucson safe.
- Eric Robbins, Pima County Democratic Party – Calling out the “politics of NO” that threaten progress.

Carolyn’s note: Pima County Democratic Party has endorsed Prop 414 (on the ballot for March 11 Special Election). Pima County Republican Party and Green Party of Pima County oppose it. Unsure about Pima County Libertarian Party but they are meeting on Jan. 20 to discuss Prop. 414 per their website.
Early ballots went out on Feb. 12. Vote wisely on or before March 11, 2025.
