“The Organizers behind the 50501 protests will be having a mother rally tomorrow on Presidents Day. If you choose to attend this or any protest we at Pima Dems urge you to take the following standard precautions:
If possible attend with someone else. Movements are built on people and there’s safety in numbers!Remember that even in February, the weather can be an obstacle in Arizona, stay hydrated and bring any medical provisions you rely on. Make sure you have the number of a trusted friend or family member as well as the phone number of a lawyer physically written down if not memorized.Don’t bring anything you wouldn’t want to get arrested with ( weapons, illegal substances, valuables, etc.).Stay alert for vehicles, suspicious behavior, discarded luggage, backpacks, boxes or bags, if you observe any of these, move away & notify the actions organizers as quickly as possible. “
