Carolyn’s note: Kelly is a retired Astronaut and US Navy officer. He was elected to U.S. Senate in Nov. 2020 defeating Republican incumbent (appointed) Martha McSally. Then he defeated Republican Blake Masters in Nov. 2022. His wife is former CD 8 Congresswoman Gabby Giffords, who served for 5 years and was shot in the head on 1/8/11.
