Don’t miss the theatrical premiere of the new short documentary The Last Alarm, about Tucson’s Last Alarm Foundation honoring departed firefighters!

In 2005, a team of retired firefighters began to refurbish a salvaged firetruck. Their dream was to someday honor their departed companions by remodeling the truck into a hearse for funerary ceremonies.  In a group effort, they created The Last Alarm Foundation, a non-profit organization that uses that same truck, free of charge, for the families of fallen heroes. A testament to the human spirit, this is a story about retirees uniting, respecting the dead, and bringing awareness to the services provided by first responders in our most desperate times of need. Glimpse into a piece of Tucson history as told through the eyes of Frank Tamayo, one of the last remaining founders of the LAF. (Dir. by Christian B. Meza, 2025, USA, 25 mins., Not Rated)
