Tucson City Council candidates forum hosted by NAACP Tucson branch

NAACP Tucson chapter will be hosting a City Council candidate forum for those running in Wards 3, 5 and 6:
Ward 3 – incumbent Democrat Kevin Dahl vs. Republican attorneyJanet Wittenbraker (who ran for Tucson Mayor in 2023 and District 3 Pima County Supervisor in 2024)
Ward 5 – Democrat Selina Barajas, political newcomer (unopposed)
Ward 6 – Democrat Miranda Schubert (who ran for this seat in the Dem primary in August 2021) vs. Republican businessman Jay Tolkoff, political newcomer

The General election is on Nov. 4. Early ballots go out on Oct. 8, 2025.
