RTA Next special election coming up on March 10, to vote for or against 1/2 cents sales tax increase for the continuation of the current 20 year RTA Plan. Will be Propositions 418 and 419 on that ballot.

“The Regional Transportation Authority, a state-established taxing district within Pima County, finalized a new 20-year regional transportation plan (RTA Next) to improve the transportation network in the greater Tucson region and enhance our quality of life.
The $2.67 billion investment plan will support reduced congestion, improved mobility, enhanced and expanded transit, environmental protections, bicycle and pedestrian improvements and pavement rehabilitation.”
Early ballots go out on Feb. 11, 2026.
