Community Corridor Tool Town Hall at Ward 6 Office – February 20 at 5:30 PM (in-person only)
“PDSD staff have been working under the direction of Mayor and Council to develop a city-wide zoning tool that will enable the redevelopment of underutilized sites along the City’s commercial corridors to encourage more housing. In addition, the tool is focused on aligning the development code with adopted City policy. Currently, Tucson’s zoning, outside of specifically tailored overlay zones, does not facilitate transit- and pedestrian-oriented infill development. This tool would allow walkable, bikeable, and transit-oriented developments by right along corridors.
Join us at the Ward 6 Offices for a town hall meeting on the proposed Community Corridor Tool. City of Tucson Planning and Development Services staff will present the proposed zoning code changes and will be available to answer questions and receive comments in advance of the public hearing.”
