 Two local journalists will talk about reaching readers, going after stories, and remaining relevant in the digital age. 

Tim Steller is a columnist for the Arizona Daily Star, focusing on local issues in Tucson and the state of Arizona. With his columns, he aims to provide thoughtful analysis and engage readers in important conversations about the region. Steller is a 25-year veteran of reporting and editing.


Dan Shearer has been editor of the Green Valley News/Sahuarita Sun since 2009.  He also is editorial director for parent company Wick Communications, where he helps guide newsrooms in 12 states.  He came here from the Arizona Republic, where he was a senior editor, and before that he worked in Palm Springs.  He lives in Sahuarita.
