Fontes Condemns Trumps “Mob Boss” Call to Arrest Pritzker and Johnson

Another day.

Another insane demand by American Duce Wannabe, Felon in Chief, and Mad King Donald Trump for retribution against his political enemies.

This time it is Illinois Governor JB Pritzker and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson.

In a, what else, social media post, the Mad King called for Pritzker and Johnson’s arrest because they refuse to cooperate with Trump’s ICE-Gestapo agents.

The exact wording was:

“Chicago Mayor should be in jail for failing to protect Ice Officers! Governor Pritzker also!”

In response to Trump’s post, Pritzker called Trump “A coward” and “Someone who pretends to be a tough guy.”

He then challenged Trump to “Come and get me.”

He also said “What kind of a country are we living in when a President targets his political opponents…These are people who speak out against him but have literally done nothing wrong.”

Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes had the same concern as Pritzker, writing in a press statement:

“President Trump is spending his energy threatening to jail elected officials. This isn’t just unprecedented, it is un-American. This is a continuation of his intimidation campaign that he’s also used with election officials when he doesn’t get his way. The President has threatened to prosecute election officials and is attempting to interfere with how we run our elections, an area clearly reserved for the states under the Constitution. We elect presidents, not mob bosses. Elected officials of all parties should condemn the President’s statements for the good of the country.”

  1. My guess is that 25th Amendment clock has started.

Not for his ravings and obvious mental (and emotional) decline, but for saying out loud many of the vile things that they may want hidden.

  2. I don’t like the language and bias Mad King, Gestapo ICE agents used in this article. I prefer facts and objective information and not a personal commentary.

    • Diane, it’s not bias if it’s the truth. But then as Stephen Colbert once said on The Colbert Report: “It is a well known fact that reality has liberal bias.”
