“Museum Day is a one-day event in which participating museums and cultural institutions across the country provide free entry to anyone presenting a Museum Day ticket. Participants are allowed to download one ticket per email address. The ticket provides free general admission on Saturday, September 18, 2021, for two people.”

Participating museums in AZ are in  Tempe, Tucson, Bisbee, Mesa, Cave Creek, Chandler, Wickenburg, Winslow, Mesa, Casa Grande, Payson, Scottsdale, Sedona and Tubac. Enjoy a free visit.

  1. It’s free Museum Day. Hope you’re planning on visiting one of these AZ museums today. Masks required for sure.
    UPDATE: We visited the AZ History Museum, with only 60 people let in, every half hour or so. Saw Senator Mark Kelly’s astronaut suit in the new Space exhibit, and also photos taken by former Senator Barry Goldwater in the ham radio exhibit, which opened in the Spring. Well worth a visit today.
