If people are truly serious about eliminating images of white supremacy, then we must look farther than confederate statues and names. In Arizona, there are a good number of monuments
to us soldiers of the so called Indian Wars post civil war period. These celebrate not only white supremacy but also ethnic cleansing, the strong odor of genocide, concentration camps, the purposeful murder of women and children, Sheridan’s nits. Let’s get rid of these statues and street names as well. Otherwise, we are
saying we believe in justice for only one group of people and ethnic cleansing and cultural and religious genocide are OK.
