I wasn't there, but word from people who were is that the big Tucson Tea Party Tax Day event drew a couple hundred people, and that includes the folks selling stuff and people who wandered by during their lunch hour.
The Star story said there were 2,000 people at the rally. I wasn't there, so I don't know. I'm just sayin'.
Did anyone take a good wide angle shot of the park, or even a bunch of shots of various parts of the gathering that can be made into a composite so we can estimate the size of the crowd? If a Tea Party organizer has some evidence that shows more than a thousand people in the park at any given time, I promise to post it here.
