Joe Biden warned about this.
Kamala Harris warned about this.
Tim Walz warned about this, and now he is in the eye of the storm as American Duce Wannabe Donald Trump earlier today threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act if state and local officials he does not like did not stop protestors from fighting against ICE officials.

Trump’s post is particularly galling, considering the mentally unhinged White House occupant threatened Minnesota with a day of reckoning and retribution with an earlier lie-filled post this week.

The fact that the great majority of the protests have been peaceful, and the violence, including the death of Rene Good, the attack on a Minneapolis high school, the pulling of a disabled person from her car, and the kidnapping of children and dumping them off at shopping centers, has been instigated by Trump’s version of the Gestapo, should not be lost on the American public.
Following the shooting of a man in the leg last night that caused increased tensions, Governor Walz and his team made several posts appealing to Trump and to Minnesotans not to give Trump what he wants and to be that “island of decency, of justice, and community.”
Commenting on Trump’s threats, House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries posted on social media:
“There is no insurrection in Minneapolis.
Donald Trump knows that since he incited an actual one on January 6.
The best path forward is to get your masked and lawless ICE agents under control. Period.”
Two of Arizona’s House Representatives, Yassamin Ansari and Adelita Grijalva, are journeying to Minnesota to show their solidarity with the people of Minneapolis and participate in a field hearing with 22 other Democrats to, as Ansari said, “hear testimony directly from people who’ve been impacted by ICE’s assault on the city.”
In Ansari’s video, she said the Democrats are demanding accountability because “ICE is terrorizing people across this country, including U.S. Citizens and, of course, last week’s murder of Rene Nicole Good, was the most appalling thing possible from this administration.
In her posting, Grijalva said, “Families and communities are still shaken after the killing of Rene Nicole Good by an ICE agent. Trump is only exacerbating the situation. Just today, he threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act. I’m going to Minnesota and stand with community members, seeking justice.”
Earlier, Representative Ansari posted:
“Donald Trump sent in his rogue ICE agency to terrorize Minneapolis and sow chaos and fear. Now he’s capitalizing on this terror and threatening the Insurrection Act. It’s what dictators do.”
Arizona Senators Mark Kelly and Ruben Gallego, in partial response to what is going on in Minnesota, have introduced The Stop Excessive Force in Immigration Act legislation designed to:
“Set clear use-of-force standards, increase transparency, and strengthen accountability for Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations—protecting communities while ensuring officers can safely address public safety and national security concerns.”
Commenting in a joint press release, Senator Kelly remarked:
“With a budget larger than the U.S. Marine Corps and massive operations in U.S. cities, ICE has to be held to a higher standard. Under this administration, we’ve seen ICE harass and use deadly force against American citizens with zero accountability, creating more chaos that makes communities less safe. That isn’t acceptable. Arizonans deserve immigration enforcement that is effective and follows the law. This bill sets clear standards for the use of force that follows other federal law enforcement agencies, while ensuring training and transparency so that ICE is accountable to the American people.”
Senator Gallego offered:
“The shooting of Renee Good and horrific violence we’re seeing from ICE agents in Minnesota and across the country is a disgrace and completely avoidable. We can secure the border and enforce immigration laws without terrorizing communities, racial profiling, or putting innocent people in danger. But the Stephen Miller approach is about stoking fear in our communities and causing harm to innocent people. We need to reform and restrain ICE to make sure it is targeted, professional, accountable, and focused on deporting dangerous criminals. This bill will bring much-needed accountability and restraint to stop Trump’s under-trained goon squads from sowing chaos in our communities and to ensure this needless violence never happens again.”
Earlier, Gallego released the below social media post, critical of how Trump’s regime is training ICE-“Stephen Miller’s goons” and how it is resulting in “people getting killed.”
