Like a dystopian work like George Orwell’s 1984 or Animal Farm, Sinclair Lewis’s It Can’t Happen Here, or an episode of Star Wars and Babylon Five, American Duce Wannabe, Mad King, January 6 Insurrectionist Enabler-Traitor, and Felon in Chief Donald Trump, jealous of the fact that Barack Obama and Joe Biden deported more illegal immigrants than him, is doing again what Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, John Kelly, and others in the decent reality world warned would happen: creating an inflamed crisis of his own making in order to have the pretext to federalize National Guard troops to Los Angeles in order do his bidding to quell mainly innocent protestors enraged with the twice impeached White House occupants dispatching of Gestapo/ICE masked blackshirts to round up, without any great idea on who to round up, mostly innocent members of the immigrant community at sites like Home Depot.

Trump committed this fascist act of inflaming chaos and political theater, with the coordination of his illegal immigrant Kapo, Stephen ‘lets make our deportation number quota Miller and Tsar Tom ‘border psychopath’ Homan, knowing that Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, Los Angeles Police Leadership, and California Governor Gavin Newsom did not request or see the need for additional National Guard involvement.
Now, thanks to Trump’s recklessness, according to the people on the ground, the situation, has become worse. Furthermore, Trump is shifting federal military and criminal investigative resources to this area while diverting from vital public safety and national security threats.
Homan (Pictured below. Does he not look like a white Fidel Castro or Saddam Hussein in those clothes) has even threatened arresting Newsom and other state and local officials if they do not cooperate with ICE.

Newsom, probably relishing this opportunity to showcase himself as a strong Presidential Candidate, has hit several news sites condemning Trump and his regime for their heinous acts, challenging them to arrest him, and launching a lawsuit to force the crime wave administration to pull back the National Guard troops.
It has also not been lost on most political observers that twice impeached Trump had no problem calling out the guard for the mostly non violent Los Angeles protestors when he stayed mute watching tv and not acting when domestic terrorist-insurrectionists stormed the Congress (whom he pardoned on his first day back in office) in his name on January 6, 2021.
Arizona Democrats have reacted to the American Duce Wannabe’s Unconstitutional and abusive power grab.
Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs joined with other Democratic Governors in penning a letter that read:
“President Trump’s move to deploy California’s National Guard is an alarming abuse of power. Governors are the Commanders in Chief of their National Guard and the federal government activating them in their own borders without consulting or working with a state’s governor is ineffective and dangerous.
“Further, threatening to send the U.S. Marines into American neighborhoods undermines the mission of our service members, erodes public trust, and shows the Trump administration does not trust local law enforcement.
“It’s important we respect the executive authority of our country’s governors to manage their National Guards — and we stand with Governor Newsom who has made it clear that violence is unacceptable and that local authorities should be able to do their jobs without the chaos of this federal interference and intimidation.”
Senator Mark Kelly posted:
“First, Trump arrested a mayor, a member of Congress, and a labor leader. Now, he’s sending in the National Guard — against the advice of local leaders — when police are best equipped to ensure safety and prevent violence. How’d we get here? Trump decided to prioritize ripping apart families and communities instead of focusing on dangerous criminals. This isn’t law and order. This isn’t making our country safer or fixing our border. And it isn’t leadership.”
Senator Ruben Gallego issued a statement that conveyed:
“When due process was followed and only criminals were being targeted, there was little to no public outcry. Public protest has erupted because Donald Trump has abused due process, separated families, and deported kids.
“Civilian law enforcement—not the military—is responsible for enforcing the law and dealing with any violence in our streets. This is a waste of our troops’ time, a waste of taxpayer money, and an insult to the men and women who serve. As a Marine, I know our military exists to defend our country from foreign threats, not to batter American protestors.
“Trump isn’t trying to solve anything—he’s putting on a show to look tough on TV.
“I’m interested in solutions that will actually bring about law and order. I’ve released a border security and immigration reform plan that will unleash economic prosperity and make America safe. I will always stand up for our troops and make sure they are not used as political pawns.”
Representative Yassamin Ansari offered:
“Sending the National Guard to LA in response to ICE protests chills free speech, threatens due process, and undermines our democracy. Protest must be peaceful, but this isn’t law and order — it’s political intimidation.”
Representative Greg Stanton posted:
“Deploying the National Guard—over the objections of state leaders and local law enforcement—is a dangerous escalation. This isn’t about enforcing law and order, it’s about seizing power and control. Americans won’t tolerate this slide into authoritarianism.”
Arizona House Democratic Leader Oscar De Los Santos relayed:
“Donald Trump is sending the National Guard into California not to keep people safe—but to distract us from what he’s really doing: handing this country over to billionaires, lobbyists, and corporate elites. Trump doesn’t want us focused on his failures as president. He wants us to turn on our neighbors instead of noticing that he’s cutting health care and Social Security to help the ultra-rich get richer while the rest of us work harder for less. This is how oligarchy and fascism creeps in—scapegoating immigrants and turning us against one another while those at the top gain more and more power for themselves.”
Arizona House Congressional District (CD) Six Candidate JoAnna Mendoza stated:
“Marines are trained for combat, not crowd control. The deployment of Marines to Los Angeles sets a dangerous precedent for federal overreach and blatant disregard for states’ rights and the Constitution. As Marines, we took an oath to protect our country and the rule of law, not be used as political pawns.”
Arizona House Congressional District (CD) Seven Candidate Adelita Grijalva commented:
“Mayor Bass and Governor Newsom did not request the deployment of the National Guard. The President must respect the wishes and authority of local officials to manage this situation. Instead, he is taking deliberate actions to stoke the flames of chaos and use the military against American civilians. The people of California are protesting these illegal raids and this Trump Administration doesn’t truly care about the safety of Californian. He wants division and chaos.”
Arizona House Congressional District (CD) Seven Candidate Daniel Hernandez posted:
“Donald Trump has now activated the U.S. military against American citizens exercising their First Amendment rights. This is an unacceptable breach of power, and I urge our courts to block this immediately.”
Matt Grodsky, Vice President of Matters of State Strategies, relayed:
“It looks to me like the administration watched the eighth episode of Andor season two and thought a fascist military state looked like a cool idea. This was entirely predictable and likely the first of many similar instances to come. Democrats need to message this as government overreach in its most aggressive form. We need to remind voters across the board, nobody is safe under this administration.”
Third Way Communications Director Kate deGruyter issued a statement that read:
Third Way condemns violence and says Trump’s reckless decision to pour gasoline on a fire will increase chaos and torches any suggestion his immigration actions are intended to improve public safety
“Americans looking for order and fairness in our immigration system are getting neither from President Trump. His decision to deploy the National Guard and now U.S. Marines over the objection of the sitting governor is a dangerous escalation of an immigration strategy that does not distinguish between people who pose no threat and hardened criminals.
“Democrats unequivocally condemn violence and will act swiftly to protect protestors and police, but Trump’s reckless decision to pour gasoline on a fire will increase the chaos on the streets and torches any suggestion that his immigration actions are intended to improve public safety.
“We can enforce our immigration laws and keep our cities safe without violating the rights of protestors or using commando-style assaults that treat cooks like criminals and dishwashers like drug dealers.
“There is simply no justification for Trump’s attempts to militarize immigration enforcement. He is moving us further from the modern immigration system Americans are demanding that delivers order and fairness in equal measure.”
Americans who believe in free speech and the right to peacefully protest need to peacefully stand up to this fascist-authoritarian move and make their dissatisfaction known.
If Trump is allowed to escalate this situation and use troops against American Citizens who are using their legal Constitutional rights, then no one is safe, your local neighborhood is under threat from the next fit from Trump, the ballot box is unsecured, and no basic right is guaranteed.
It is Los Angeles today. It could be Phoenix, Tucson, Las Vegas, New York, Chicago or another American city or town tomorrow.
The American Ideal dies if you remain silent.

It’s interesting that Gavin Newsom is doing his job and doing it well. Yet there are those including Democrats who like to say that he is campaigning for the WH in 2028. I hope this doesn’t mean that the Democrats haven’t learned their lesson about choosing candidates. Actually, I do believe they are just dumb enough to keep promoting candidates that the people don’t want.
Anyhow the Democrats should be 100% behind Gavin Newsom. He’s trying to stand between us and Trump’s vision of a dictatorship. Show me another Democrat who’s fighting this hard.
Gavin is doing an admirable job standing up to Felonious Punk’s goons. Which rates major applause.
His down side is he always seemed to be corporately owned & is apparently overriding the will of the people and Native tribes in regards to the Delta Tunnel.
@Liza –
We’ve seen an example of someone who stood up to Cheeto but was still a lousy human being..
I don’t know if he’s as bad as Andrew Cuomo (hope not), but he’s definitely hoping that, like Cuomo, people will compare him to Cheeto and decide that he’s better than Cheeto.
And ignore everything else.
