Join post-inauguration protest of proposed university cuts

Last night I posted a Citizen article about a protest of the proposed cuts to university budgets from 12-1pm Tuesday in front of the U of A Student Union on the mall. This morning I received The Farley Report asking non-students to attend as well:

Tuesday, January 20, there will be a protest of the cuts to our universities from 12 – 1pm in front of the U of A Student Union on the mall. Organizers say: "Bring your posters expressing your opinions, wear black shirts to signify the death of higher education and bring as many of your friends as you can. The greater the numbers, the stronger the message."

I hope you can make it. Even if you cannot, please phone and email Arizona legislators and ask them to reject the devastating cuts offered by Legislative chairmen, and instead adopt Governor Napolitano's budget proposals to protect Arizona families and Arizona's economy.
